TENS electrodes pads and TENS electrodes combination is ...

?

TENS or Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation is one of the best known for pain relief. As you can probably gather from the name ?Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation? it is all about using electrical stimulation on nerves to ensure that joint and other muscle pains are alleviated. The combination of TENS electrodes pads and TENS electrodes can be easily used on almost any part of the body and what you get is almost instant pain relief.

?

The moment we hear about electrodes we tend to think in terms of manufacturing. It is true that electrodes play a huge role in the manufacturing industry. Think of any form of welding and you will find that electrodes are needed for it. Even electric execution chairs are run on electrodes. Other uses include electrophysiology, cathodic protection, chemical analysis, electroplating and electrolysis and grounding. Even in the medical field electrodes have huge roles to play in defibrillators, EEG, ECT and ECG. Thus, electrodes are extremely important in our life.

?

Muscle or joint pain is a common phenomenon. Many people go through these pains. Elderly people are known to suffer from joint pains. One cannot fathom how much it can pain when someone is suffering from arthritis. Then there are the sportspeople. Sportspersons need to drive their body to the maximum, day after day. This is the only way to ensure that they can compete with the others in the field. The result of all this taxation means that the body takes a toll. Muscle pains become common; hamstring injuries become common and groin injuries occur every now and then. While there are medical treatments available for all these pains, the TENS electrodes pads and TENS electrodes combo works extremely well when someone just wants pain relief.

?

The TENS electrodes pads and TENS electrodes work by passing electrical pulses through the body. The pad is kept in the area of the pain or directly on the area where the pain is. Electrodes are now attached to the pad and the other end of the electrodes is attached to a source of electrical current. The electrical current passes through the electrode to the pad and from the pad to the body. The pulses provide ready and immense relief from all the pain. This combination cannot possibly cure an illness like arthritis but when you are suffering through pain and want immediate relief, you must use them.

?

Before you use the TENS electrodes pads and TENS electrodes combination you may want to know more about it. No one is comfortable using electrical products and you may be one of them. There are many articles and notes on these products and you can easily find them by searching online. While you are going through information on these products also look for some of the sellers of TENS products. So, when you are convinced that it is ok to use these products you can buy from a top seller.

?

Go for TENS electrodes pads and TENS electrodes if you want pain relief. Almost nothing works better.

For easy pain relief for a very affordable cost use the combination of TENS electrodes pads and TENS electrodes.

Campaigns express concern over role of debate moderator

Romney and Obama shake hands at their debate in Denver on Oct. 3, 2012. (Getty)

The moderators of the 2012 presidential and vice presidential debates have been under considerable scrutiny, perhaps more than in any other election cycle.

Now,?according to Time magazine, the campaigns of both GOP challenger Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama have expressed concern over how CNN's Candy Crowley, the moderator of Tuesday's town hall debate in Hempstead, N.Y., is approaching her role. In?an interview on the news network on Oct. 5, Crowley said she would not be afraid to ask follow-up questions if necessary.

"Once the table is kind of set by the town hall questioner, there is then time for me to say, 'Hey, wait a second, what about X, Y, Z?'" Crowley said.

The campaigns sent a memo to the Commission on Presidential Debates?claiming they were under the impression that the moderator would play a limited role in the debate's town hall format, as the commission announced in July:

The second presidential debate will take the form of a town meeting, in which citizens will ask questions of the candidates on foreign and domestic issues. Candidates each will have two minutes to respond, and an additional minute for the moderator to facilitate a discussion. The town meeting participants will be undecided voters selected by the Gallup Organization.

[Related: Lehrer's debate moderation mauled by critics]

From the campaigns' memo:

In managing the two-minute comment periods, the moderator will not rephrase the question or open a new topic. ? The moderator will not ask follow-up questions or comment on either the questions asked by the audience or the answers of the candidates during the debate or otherwise intervene in the debate except to acknowledge the questioners from the audience or enforce the time limits, and invite candidate comments during the two-minute response period.

Through a CNN spokeswoman, Crowley declined to comment. "Any questions about debate format should be directed to the Commission on Presidential Debates," the spokeswoman wrote in an email to Yahoo News.

[Watch: 'SNL' skewers VP debate (VIDEO)]

Crowley is the first woman in 20 years to moderate a presidential debate. Last week, ABC News' Martha Raddatz was praised by critics for her moderation of the vice presidential debate. PBS' Jim Lehrer, who moderated the first presidential debate of 2012, was widely criticized for losing control and allowing both candidates?Romney in particular?to "steamroll" him.

Two days later, the commission defended Lehrer's performance in a statement on its website:

The format for the first and fourth presidential debates calls for six 15-minute segments on topics selected and announced in advance by the moderators. After the moderator asks a question, the candidates each have two minutes to answer. After their answers, the moderator's job is to facilitate a conversation on the topic for the balance of the 15 minutes before moving to the next topic. ... Jim Lehrer implemented the format exactly as it was designed by the CPD and announced in July.

The format for the third presidential debate, to be held Oct. 22 in Boca Raton, Fla., will be identical to the first and will focus on foreign policy. CBS' Bob Schieffer will moderate.

Millennium & Copthorne Increases Presence in China and Invests over S$360 million into Global Refurbishment Strategy

Millennium & Copthorne Hotels (M&C) today signed a contract to manage its first resort hotel in China. The 151-room Millennium Hangzhou Resort is situated in a forested hillside in Jiuxi Ping Feng or Nine Creek Mountain in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. The 5-star resort is located within a tranquil tea plantation, famous for growing Chinese teas like the Longjing or Dragon Well Tea and is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2013.

Since the successful entry into China in 2006, M&C has expanded its footprint with 6 other properties - Millennium Hotel Chengdu, Millennium Harbourview Hotel Xiamen, Millennium Hotel Wuxi, Copthorne Hotel Qingdao and the luxury Grand Millennium Beijing Hotel. It also operates the 329-room serviced apartment complex Millennium Residences Beijing Fortune Plaza, located in the capital's CBD.

Over the next three years, M&C will continue its expansion into China with two other new properties located in popular tourist and business destinations - M Hotel Chengdu in Sichuan Province (194 rooms), and Millennium Fuqing in Fujian Province (510 rooms). Together with Millennium Hangzhou Resort, these new properties will add 855 rooms to M&C's current portfolio in China.

This current phase of expansion will see a total of M&C's hospitality portfolio increase to 10 properties in China with over 3,500 rooms.

"This is in line with M&C's strategy of expanding its footprint in China by owning, or managing hotels in the world's fastest growing economy and potentially the largest global tourist market,"said M&C Chairman, Mr. Kwek Leng Beng at the signing ceremony for Millennium Hangzhou Resort, today (27 September 2012) at the Tower Club on the top floor of Republic Plaza, Singapore.

For the Chinese owners, Shanghai Seagull Holding Group, today's signing of the management contract is its second with M&C. The Millennium Hongqiao Hotel in Shanghai, which it owns, was also M&C's first hotel that it managed in China in 2006.

Shanghai Seagull Holding Group President, Mr. Yang Weijian speaking at the signing ceremony said, "We have a strong and established long-term relationship with M&C since the signing of Millennium Hongqiao in 2006. Since then, the results have been impressive. The hotel has won various awards and has made an outstanding mark among Shanghai's many other 5-star hotels."

M&C also announced that it will also expand in Taiwan soon when Millennium Vee Hotel Taichung opens there next month. Located in downtown Taichung, the 267-room hotel aims at business and leisure travelers, offering convenient access to major travel links including business, shopping and cultural attractions. With a population of over 2.6 million people, Taichung is Taiwan's third largest city after Taipei and Kaohsiung. M&C currently owns Grand Hyatt Taipei.

Following the signing ceremony, Chairman Mr. Kwek disclosed that M&C was committed to refurbishing its major properties as part of its global strategy to stay ahead of the competition. "We have committed and have already begun refurbishing works of M&C's hotels in gateway cities," said Mr. Kwek.

M&C expects to spend more than S$360 million (US$300 million) in refurbishing several of its global properties where some have been completed or in progress, while plans are being developed for others. These include Millennium UN Plaza (recently re-branded to ONE UN) which this month completes the first phase of a three-part major renovation; Millennium Minneapolis, another M&C property in the US; Millennium Mayfair in London; and Grand Hyatt Taipei in Asia.

"Our asset management strategy has delivered good returns on investment, and has made us even more competitive. Although we cannot be immune to the ongoing Euro crisis and global economic uncertainty, we are well-positioned to take advantage of strategic opportunities," added Mr. Kwek.

"M&C's refurbishment plans together with other asset management initiatives will help the Group sustain and improve on our strong financial performance," he said.

Stress Relief Techniques - My Phenom Fitness

It is well known that exercise is one of many great stress relief techniques that bring numerous advantages and improvements to one?s physical health. But are you aware that exercise also affect one?s mental function and is beneficial when dealing with anxiety? In particular, those who suffer from stress and anxiety may find that taking an active part in an exercise program can help them when dealing with anxiety and can be great for stress relief techniques. How is this possible?

Mental health experts believe that often times, anxiety not only brings excess tension to the body, but that anxiety also weighs on our emotions, adding to the stress experienced. As the body remains tensed, the mind also becomes cluttered and overwhelmed because of this.? One way to help clear this up is through regular exercise. Doing basic routines releases body chemicals and hormones that will help reduce stress and tension. The mind and body can then become relaxed, which can be very helpful when dealing with anxiety. Thus, this leads to a diminished feeling of anxiousness which is why exercise is one of many great stress relief techniques that you can implement in your life.

Below are just some of the exercises you can do as a form of stress relief techniques. These exercises will be great in dealing with anxiety that you may have.

Stress Relief Techniques #1: Cardio Boxing
One of many very effective stress relief techniques is to do cardio boxing.? Pounding and punching on the bags are helpful because it can release pent up emotions and frustrations and can, as a result, be very effective when dealing with anxiety. The actions work like this catharsis that opens up clogged thoughts and takes away all the tension in the body. As soon as you?re done with the routine, you will see that you will feel lighter and less anxious, and the stress felt will be reduced. This is one of many beneficial stress relief techniques that can aid you in dealing with anxiety.

Stress Relief Techniques #2: Walking
Whether you?re doing walking exercises on the treadmill or simply walking outside, walking can help with tension relief. We often tell people who are very angry and argumentative to take a walk to clear their mind because it frequently can help in the dealing with anxiety that they may have. This works in the same principle because the mind can focus on other things. Exercise does not need to be intense to have great benefits, and any physical activity, such as something as simple as this (walking) can deliver results and be of great help when dealing with anxiety in your life. It truly is amazing how simple stress relief techniques such as walking can help when dealing with anxiety.

Stress Relief Techniques #3: Yoga and Stretching
Yoga, stretching and similar stress relief techniques can provide anxiety relief, just as much as other forms of exercises. Even if these routines have low intensity, the mere fact that your body and mind puts focus on doing something, they can help take your mind off your worries and help in dealing with anxiety. Plus, these routines also offer a calming effect that withers away stress and tension. With yoga routines most especially, this method works behind the idea that the body and the mind should create a balance. If one is distracted or in pain, the person cannot function properly.

Other than our physical well-being, there are other aspects to health that one should take care of, such as our mental or emotional well-being and our dental health. Read up on tips and guides to maintaining good dental health at http://bracescostinfo.com.

(AP) ? Eddie Johnson rewarded his coach's faith in him ? twice.

In his first game back with the U.S. national team, Johnson scored a pair of goals Friday night, including the winner in second-half injury time, lifting the United States to the verge of advancing in World Cup qualifying with a nervous 2-1 victory over Antigua and Barbuda.

"We are not happy with what we saw, but we expected a very difficult challenge and they gave us that challenge and it came down to the wire," U.S. coach Jurgen Klinsmann said. "I'm happy for Eddie, getting this moment back in the team. He was all excited the last couple of days."

If the Americans win or draw with Guatemala on Tuesday night in Kansas City, Kan., they would move into the six-nation final round of CONCACAF qualifying for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The U.S. (3-1-1) has 10 points and so does Guatemala after a 2-1 win over Jamaica (2-2-1), which has seven points. The top two teams in the group advance.

Johnson connected on headers in the 20th minute and then in the dying moments in his first game for the U.S. team in two years. The 28-year-old forward was added to the squad by Klinsmann, ostensibly replacing the disappointing Jozy Altidore, and the move paid off.

"It was a lot of thinking before the second goal. It was 1-1 and I remember the Olympic team was in a (similar) situation," Johnson said. "At the end of the day, you don't want to be a part of a team that didn't qualify for a World Cup."

Johnson was on the U.S. roster for the 2006 World Cup under coach Bruce Arena, but was making his first appearance for the national squad since a May 2010 exhibition against the Czech Republic. His previous goals for the national team came in 2008 in an 8-0 romp over Barbados.

"We see a player that is extremely proud to be back in this group," Klinsmann said. "We see a player that has matured a lot and knows now that he has a point to prove, he gets that opportunity and knows that maybe at his age there might not be that many opportunities coming and he takes that one similar to Herculez Gomez how he took his chance in May and June in these games and put himself back into that team."

Until Johnson's second goal, the Americans struggled, particularly with the wind in their face on the wet cricket pitch at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. The field was exceptionally tight, too, hindering the Americans' attack.

The wind picked up in the second half, and the footing remained tricky. Gomez crashed into goalkeeper Molvin James in the 49th and James needed several moments before he returned to his feet, holding his chest and left shoulder.

Taking advantage of that wind, the Antiguans several times barely missed shots wide. But the best scoring opportunities in the late going were by Sacha Kljestan in the 81st and Michael Bradley in the 86th before Johnson pounced.

Kljestan's hard right-footed shot was punched away by James, and then he got his hands on Bradley's header. Soon after, things got rough and ragged, with Bradley challenging several opponents following a hard tackle by George Dublin, who undercut him.

Then Johnson got free in the box and smartly headed Gordon's cross back to his right past the sprawling James. Gordon was making his first international appearance.

The Americans broke through in the 20th minute after controlling much of the early play. Off a corner kick, Graham Zusi took the ball on right wing, fed Bradley and got a return pass as he curled outside the penalty area. Zusi's left-footed cross was met perfectly by Johnson, who headed the ball down, making it skid off the turf past James.

But Antigua's speed began to pay off and, as has been their tendency throughout qualifying, the Americans got lax on defense. A quick burst by Peter Byers got him free in the area on right wing and when center back Clarence Goodson fell, Byers tapped the ball to an uncovered Blackstock for the equalizer.

"We had our chances and could have won the game," Antigua and Barbuda coach Tom Curtis said. "I don't think it went wrong, I think we lapsed for 10 seconds and I'm proud of the guys for their performance against a team full of world-class players."

As rain intensified late in the first half, the United States again took charge of possession, but couldn't connect. Bradley was just off-target with a 25-yard blast in the 40th minute, his shot glancing off the right goalpost. The hosts then challenged Howard with a quick counterattack, but the veteran keeper caught the shot from Byers.

Blackstock shot wide in the final seconds of the half with the Americans off-balance in their end.

"It was ugly, real ugly," U.S. captain Carlos Bocanegra said. "It's three points and sometimes in CONCACAF it's like this, so on Tuesday night we'll go out there on the front foot and get a win hopefully."

NOTES: Johnson now is tied for second-most goals for the U.S. in qualifying games with Brian McBride. ... Substitute midfielder Jermaine Jones drew a yellow card for a hand ball and is suspended for the Guatemala match. ... Bradley returned to the lineup after missing the prior two qualifiers with a muscle injury. ... This was the first time Antigua and Barbuda hosted the U.S.

Wake County school system's head of special education resigns

Lisa Grillo, the Wake County school system's assistant superintendent for special education services, has become the latest high-level administrator to resign since the firing of Superintendent Tony Tata.

Grillo submitted her resignation today to take the position of chief human resources officer for Baltimore County Public Schools in Maryland.

Grillo was hired by Wake in August 2011 to take the newly created $120,000 a year job overseeing special education. Grillo, like Tata, had come to Wake after having worked in the D.C. Public Schools.

Tata was fired by the board's Democratic majority on Sept. 25. Soon afterward, Judy Peppler, the district's chief transformation officer and chief of staff, submitted her resignation.
